@prettygood @Paradox i think the effect of not being able to understand words arises much more in songs than in normal conversations or movies because conversations and movies have clear context, allowing you to error correct what's been said -- that is, you can figure out which one of the many possible things being said it is because it'll be the one that makes sense given everything else that's been said. with lyrics, just like poetry, it's quite often that almost anything could precede or follow almost anything.

@sand @prettygood I feel this. Songs have words mixed with music and it garbles my ability to pick out the sounds. Especially considering sometimes a singer will just fucking vocalize shit. Did you know in Poker Face, Lady Gaga actually says "fuck her face" half the time?
