@Tijn Maybe it's because I was already here when Bsky broke, but I was never won over by that model. Engagement, sure, but at what cost? However well intended, it still has the same fundamental problem that other commercial platforms do, of individual ownership and centralized governance. (Their pseudo-federation disguises that, but doesn't change it.) Give it time, and it inevitably becomes another Xitter. And it sounds like they're well on their way.
