@pojntfx@mastodon.social this is very neat! gtk is so well-behaved on macos i’m not sure i’m tempted to switch off of it … but my desktop app is also in typescript.
would you say this was sufficiently painless that you’d maintain the macos port? (with all the signing and notarizing and junk that entails.) or is this more experimental?

Being able to share the Go code between the two and even being able to use the GObject bindings for p2panda for the native macOS and GNOME apps might just make it easy enough Notarization + signing stuff is the main blocker, plus upgrades bc. no Flatpak
