@deobald@fantastic.earth @tbernard@mastodon.social Honestly - not 100% sure! Being able to share the Go code between the two and even being able to use the GObject bindings for p2panda for the native macOS and GNOME apps might just make it easy enough
Notarization + signing stuff is the main blocker, plus upgrades bc. no Flatpak

@deobald@fantastic.earth @tbernard@mastodon.social Some more hacking results for the design here: https://mastodon.social/@pojntfx/116462279337364764 The icon in particular was suprisingly hard to get right bc. macOS 26 has so many configurations for how icons can look like (clear, tinted, light/dark etc.) Getting e.g. a help menu and links and stuff - trivial. SLOC of GNOME vs. macOS is pretty much 1:1.
