Nobody wants to work, especially CEOS & founders.
One thing that's very clear working with people at the top of companies is many are desperate to retire. They're caught in the trap of burning out in the hopes of a big $$$ off. This rarely happens.
How many founders aim to create a sustainable business that they can be involved in, perhaps multigenerationally, anymore?
Capitalism (and the patriarchy) hurts 99.999% of everyone.

@sashabilton@mastodon.gamedev.place When effusive VC can allow upstarts to make their product essentially free to crowd out competitors, maintaining a legacy company with livable margins becomes impossible
