Why Google Maps is trash for (bike) navigation. Here it suggests two routes: one along a busy road, another along a highway. Meanwhile there is the cutest absolutely drop dead gorgeous nature rich path with zero traffic. The kicker: it's even shorter... #Maps #Navigation

    On the second picture I nudged it with a stop on the way. Despite that, Google Maps' router decides it is a great idea to make a detour just to catch a bit of N618 (a main car road).
