Much needed clarification. Posting idle thoughts is dangerous.
SwiftUI isn’t going anywhere! It’s very popular and for good reason.
But I think Apple execs could be receptive to the argument that it’s getting pretty mature now and AI means it is less important than ever to push so hard.

I was very reactive sceptical for performance reasons but for most cases I feel it is a huge improvement and it clearly offers great possibilities for optimisation by Apple due to declarative nature, not to mention new possibilities like those that led to Widgets etc. Whether Apple truly leverage that ever is another matter. I coded UIKit for 10 years or so and loved it but I am never going back!
