@andrewbriscoe there's some cool trails. Not as many mountain views as the north side or the plains of Abraham but there is a wild diversity of terrain in the two miles or so between red rock pass and blue lake. Lava fields, subalpine meadow, lush temperate rain forest, and some areas that feel like high desert, all within a couple of miles as you move up and down the mountain.

@intrepidhero Only takes like two hours for me to get up there so closer than where I usually go. I really need to spend more time there. I’ve been dreaming of Indian Heaven and Goat Rocks. Need to explore those beyond the PCT.
