It was lovely!
I parked about 0.5 mile from Red Rock pass and went up past Butte Camp. These pictures are from up on the Loowit Trail.
There was less snow than two weeks ago but still plenty above 4000'. There was one sketchy spot on the ascent, where the trail is very narrow and traverses a steep hillside. There was only a couple inches of snow there but that combined with erosion got the adrenaline pumping.

@intrepidhero Very cool! Just looked that area up on the map. I’ve only been to Marble Mountain area so far. At least the snow wasn’t too deep in that sketchy spot.
