@trisweb @lifewithtrees @ImmedicableME yeah, I think you’re right. One thing that has helped me is to frame to-do lists as “things I might do today” or put a question mark IN FRONT OF each item so that it feels less demanding

    @tsyum @lifewithtrees @ImmedicableME yes I’ve used this! A (neurodivergent) therapist had basically the same suggestion to make it a “can do” list rather than a “to do” list. Like, here’s all the things you can do [might do, etc], and you get to choose. That framing has been very helpful.

At the beginning feels potentially very freeing as it puts power back into my hands - and it’s real too! Like “is it the time ripe for this now?” (And yes I know it’s right usually but the ripeness of time like fruit feels more legit in how I see time) Thank you for the ? !!
