@TheZorse that's the bottom line... mom is right. It's a spiritual battle mostly fought with unseen enemies who whisper into our thoughts and raise our passions thereby leading into destructive thoughts and behaviours which drown the still, small voice, steal our peace, damage our souls and so forth. Though I am very new this is how (in part) I am understanding orthodoxy.

@maxelcat That's one of the ways orthodoxy speaks to me, despite not considering myself exactly orthodox. It recognizes a spiritual world in a way some denominations don't seem to (although I'm no expert).
