@gordoooo_z Colour inkjet printers are harder work than lasers (all me why I know!) and I know your pain wrt the hardware problems - I have been repairing printers on and off since the early 90s. Paper sensor levers do tend to go AWOL because they're usually very fragile and go through millions of duty cycles. Moving the paper tray in and out, and every page that passes through causes wear... And they just work, until they don't. Often it's the micro switch that they activate that dies, not often the lever itself. Hopefully you won't have to dismantle it too much to get to the part. If it's the switch, they are usually COTS parts so you can buy online and solder on to the existing wire. If it is the lever... That will be "fun". Good luck!
