I really should have asked this long ago but ... for those who don&#39;t want to deal with the bloatedness of Microsoft Word on Windows, what are you using for an accessible spell checker? I&#39;m half-tempted to just use the terminal for this.

@simon I use the NVDA add on by Andre louis spell Box. You can use it with a dictionary, and you can add your own misspellings to it.

@simon Nothing. I do not trust any spell checker other than the one in Word. Which is a bit of a bugger because I don't trust Word's much these days either.

@simon I just open Notepad. I guess you’ll only check against whatever dictionary it uses, haven’t looked into those parts of Windows so far to be able to tell you what that is or if you can do stuff like add custom words à la Word.

@simon Leasey in Word is the most efficient way to get it done that I’ve found. That requires JAWS.
