The Disquiet Junto sounds interesting. I might join in one week. Every Thursday @disquiet puts out an idea for a music project and you've got until the following Monday to complete it. https://disquiet.com/2013/04/25/disquiet-junto-faq/

Yamaha has released an audio interface with a touchscreen. When is this obsession with touchscreens going to stop?

I've never worn dungarees and have no idea if they suit me. I might buy one just to try it.

Someone's converted most of Logic Pro 9's EXS24 instruments to Kontakt. I loved playing these sounds when I had a Mac and Main Stage. Not sure how good the conversions are yet. https://archive.org/details/logic-pro-9

For tea/dinner we had a really lovely ravioli and arrabbiata sauce from Tesco. Both bits came separately. I don't think I've had arrabbiata sauce before but it was delicious with a bit of a kick to it with it having chillis in. definitely having it again. I think we should have Penne all'arrabbiata which is of course Jeff Vader's favourite.

Anyone remember Antares' Kantos plugin? I've never used it but I thought the demos on their website sounded amazing back in the day. It was a synthesiser controlled by monophonic audio, and came out in 2002. It apparently never got past version 1.0.. It kind of annoyed me that the world was obsessed with AutoTune but ignored Kantos. I completely forgot what it was called until a few minutes ago when I did some digging.

I wonder if any of the music YouTubers have gone all geeky about Bert Bacharach. He was an amazing composer.

The people that name paints and racehorses should get together. We found a paint in B&Q called "An Unfound Door" but I could also imagine that winning the Grand National as wel.

Why in software messages is it nearly always "we"? "Please wait while we do Bla..." "We have detected that bla..." Who's this we I'd like to know? I suppose at least it isn't "I". that'd be worse.

I had quite a nice dream last night for a change. A very posh old woman was showing me her e-Mu Emulator sampler and telling me about all her sample discs she created for it back in the day.

Disappointed. We bought a wagamama Pad Thai meal kit because what could possibly go wrong with a pad thai? but when my wife made it, it was way too spicy for me. I've never had a spicy pad Thai before, and usually choose it because it isn't.

Decided to do another 90s racing game liquid d&B type thing with maschine. I listened to Goldie's Timeless yesterday so felt inspired to use the Apache break. This is what I have so far. Ended up just calling it Let's Go Racing.

If you want an interesting rabbit hole to go down, have a look at Wikipedia:Unusual articles. I think it's one of Wikipedia's hidden gems. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Unusual_articles
