The accessibility checklist for academic conferences and events that I had a hand in producing now has its own proper address, not under my staff webspace: https://accessible-events.ncl.ac.uk/ If you work at a university and you&#39;re planning any sort of gathering of people, please have a look at it. It contains practical advice about how to make sure people of all sorts are included and able to take part in your event. #accessibility

@christianp This is a lovely work & gives me hope for the people who could be able to participate in events who otherwise would not be. However I am surprised & saddened to see no discussion of ventilation & other safety considerations for the immunocompromised & those who are carers for them. I consider: Will the air be filtered? Is there a COVID/etc policy clearly stated & masking encouraged & normalized at the event? Will there be outdoor air or equivalent places to eat/drink/unmask?

@christianp it could do with a section covering "don't hold your event in a jurisdiction that criminalises the existence of some of your attendees".
