@christianp it could do with a section covering "don't hold your event in a jurisdiction that criminalises the existence of some of your attendees".

@womble we sort of wrote this with the UK, and specifically Newcastle, in mind, but we can add that as a point. In the UK, requiring in-person attednance can exclude people who can't get visas in time / cheaply / at all.
