@gleick I remember meeting a survivor of the '53 CIA-promoted revolution (his son was in my trade union). The "black prisons" stories of the post-2001 "war on terror" were not news. Remind me again, how many Iranians were part of 2001? And how many Saudis?

@gleick I think he is incapable of most of these. I think it would be difficult for most successors to do most of these, but that’s governing a large country. I think the ICC aspect might require an act of Congress (which I’d approve of) and in general there’s a reluctance for nations to admit mistakes, but we can hope.
