@401matthall @benroyce @saltywizard @davoyager As a patriotic American, I think we should make the device more compact by replacing the potential energy storage with an automobile suspension spring or two. And pay honor to our political system by winding it up with a ratchet and pawl that gets more dangerous the more you crank it over to the right.
