The wife and I broke out the guitar (which she can play and I am learning-ish), the mandolin (which she can play and I cannot), and the electric piano (which I can play and she cannot) and we played music together tonight. We learned a few melodies from old nostalgic music. It turns out some of our favorite music is _wildly_ simple. I think we might do this again. This was a _really_ nice evening. OH MY GOD... I'm stuck in a "training/foundational" class for AI this morning... We've already started with it's literally non-deterministic so how do we "wrangle" that? Fuck off, that's how. #writing #programming All right, nerds... How many of you finally gave up on writing software for a living and went into writing? I&#39;ll tell ya&#39;ll what... I&#39;ve added a couple of hashtags to my follows recently and it has _drastically_ increased the traffic I see. Previously, I&#39;ve just been slowly &#39;collecting&#39; folks to follow (which is still my preferred method) but this has been really nice. So, if you don&#39;t already consider following a hashtag or two. &lt;3 #mastodon

But if you let some rich folks spend five fucking decades trying to convince the people who already had a shaky relationship with science that, "Science ain't so great.
