They did have one - I can't remember which.
The talk was mostly about Noggin the Nog, as it was part of the York Viking Festival. Noggin was just before my TV watching time, but I grew up with the Clangers and Bagpuss and love both series.

@suearcher @Sarahw I never got into Bagpuss but I loved Ivor the Engine. Wasn't The Herbs one of theirs too?

@suearcher @Sarahw I remember watching Noggin the Nog in the early 70s in the UK although the Wikipedia page suggests that the animations were not broadcast at that time. Anybody know if this is a trick my mind is playing on me or if they were broadcast then? As an adult I ended up moving to Norway. I wonder if the essence of this country presented implicitly in Noggin the Nog was part of the complex set of thoughts, subconcious and concious that made me move here.
