@davemosk @Niall @phil_stevens it seems clear, given Mamdani's almost inconceivable victory (given the power aligned against him), as well as Hungary's recent power shift, and also the success Polanski & the Greens in the UK, that the time for a substantial authentic change is right about now. We just need the right messenger with the right narrative. I don't even think it's that sensitive to the messenger.

@lightweight listening to the last two episodes of Gary Stephenson's podcast has been very thought provoking and chimes with what you say. Here's the older of the two: https://pca.st/episode/3aa3a11b-4e89-4b29-9938-a8f7f28d8d70 @davemosk @phil_stevens

@lightweight In Mamdani's case it was the people working together. Yes he's great, willing to stand up. But So Many People went door to door, all over NYC, and they said, "tell me your struggles" and "I will fight to get your needs met." It isn't the politicians who change things. It is us, inspiring each other to believe we can make change happen by working together for each other. @davemosk @Niall @phil_stevens
