@davemosk how exactly are we meant to lead a modern life while following your guidelines? Asimple example: The coffee I drink at a locally owned and run Cafe is delivered by a truck which runs on diesel. The oat milk by another. The cafe's electricity from lines companies whose maintenance fleet are diesel powered. I have no way to control any of that and buying diesel is a huge part of the problem. @phil_stevens

  • What Niall says there is important. I also have cut out as much fossil fuels as feasible and continue to do so but if the diesel trucks can’t drive to the local supermarket I can’t buy and any delicious corn flakes. There was an incentive, and funding, for them to pursue decarbonisation. Government can lean on the scales and make the figures work out for pursuing a survivable planet. Unfortunately this bunch of numpties scrapped all of that. @Niall @davemosk @phil_stevens
