@thatdnaguy@genomic.social @ChristosArgyrop@mastodon.social The flash memory will similarly be in formats used for rack mounts and the hard drives will be SAS drives probably, not SATA. This isn't imo a case where the hardware that has been manufactured can get easily repurposed down the line.

@Infoseepage@mastodon.social @thatdnaguy@genomic.social A100s and H100s are available on PCIe for workstation use with liquid blocks (again similar to the V100s or one would have to put up with the noise). The hardcore homelab crowd have rack servers at home as well and may even be able to host SXM baseboards (could be wrong though). The Blackwells are going to be bricks unfortunately
