For example not everyone wants to talk to racists or whatever, but sometimes some of us have to. Maybe to deradicalise, maybe to convince them to move the needle on something, like talking to the university executive board to make them cut ties, or other aspects of BDS. 2/

In part it's a personal decision to play that role. For example, sometimes I ask colleagues who clearly promote AI to stop other times I ignore them, sometimes I may even offend them. My point I guess is that not everyone can and should do everything, but also that in healthy activist spaces like 3/
