What I like a lot about CalVer is that it clearly conveys the message that "this is an scheduled release", as opposed to "this is a release because ".

@nessita @carlton @sarahboyce @djangochat @wsvincent I like having the year in the version to point out something is using Django six years ago versus trying to remember when 2.2 or 3.2 came out.
