Gotcha. Yeah that's a weird alignment. I don't go E-W through Rossdale much, but I think I'd tend to just ride on the street on 96 St and avoid the MUP on 97.
Like you say, noise and sketchy intersections with right turn "drivers looking over their left shoulder" slip lanes on 97 vs quiet and straightforward right angle intersections on 96.

@dragonfrog @taprootyeg Yeah I sometimes go through there as part of my commute and take 96 Ave to 107 street. It's not the best, but it is much better than 97 Ave, and can be improved much more readily as part of the renewal.
