@yvanspijk Polish has "fabryka," which is a factory. Somehow, I never mixed up "fabric" and "fabryka;" I guess because of the "a" at the end.

@yvanspijk And there's also the 'kerkfabriek' (fabrica ecclesiae). If I understand it well, fabrica here means 'public body', a meaning derived from 'construct'.
