@salty@zwiebel.social USB 3.0 is a much faster interface than USB 2.0 (it's symmetric too), but it won't make any difference if the NAND flash and/or controller at slower at writing or reading than 50 MiB/second.

@Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com I know that, but why do they run so hot if they use the same glacial NAND as the 128MB stick my dad got me in 2002? Are they hooking up the fastest 5Gb/s controller to that or what?
