Just want it to be known that @ivory is a nice piece of software and I appreciate the care put into it.
It starts and closes instantly, always runs silky smooth, never forgets UI state, follows OS human interface guidelines, uses sensible typography…. It just works.

@jonikorpi @ivory @alex And it lets you insert photos from Photo.app on the Mac, which so many other Mac apps don't let you do!

@jonikorpi @ivory What it doesn’t let you do, drives me nuts, and that’s let your posts stretch the whole screen like Mona does rather than wasting blank indented space on the side. I asked them for the choice and they said no, they didn’t like it any other way but there’s so I cancelled my sub.

@jonikorpi @ivory Yeah, I had been using TweetBot for like 10 years before too. Good software! A large part of why Mastodon stuck with me I think.
