@rakslice This is encrypted ext4 on a ThinkPad that is less than a year old.

@keirFox so I guess nvme of some kind to get actual blocks of zeros with full disk encryption wouldn't something actually have to write the zeros? like a disk failure wouldn't explain this?

@keirFox @rakslice Ah - Thinkpad! I've had an issue with my L15 Gen 2 AMD locking up when removing it from a Thunderbolt 4 dock. (I'm running Fedora along with Btrfs, though.)
