@finlaydag33k I know! I don't either. I feel insulted by it. But then again, they're writing software for billions of people, a very large chunk of which put too much faith in their devices and the randos that call them and claim something bad is going to happen *right now*. And maybe the rando sounds exactly like a loved one.
It's all really shitty. Maybe this was a good-faith change... but probably not. Hard to argue too hard though in its current form given the world we live in now. 😞

@wagesj45 I think a more reasonable way would be to require the user to go into the recovery and enable a flag there via ADB or something. I doubt most people that need this security know how to get in the recovery, get ADB working and enable the flag without external help.
