Can we please fucking not normalize vehicles making decisions on behalf of the driver? Truck almost caused a collission (with the truck behind me) because it braked for me... hard... Thing thought the sign 50km/h was for me, not the exit to the tankstation...

So, something from my car's buildlog made it into Google's AI summary (yes, it links my buildlog as the source and and only source for this)... Problem for me isn't that Google uses it (that debate can go on for ages, not worth my time), the problem is that this "fix", isn't actually a fix. It was a band-aid fix to make something work "alright-ish" for me to get certain usable data but isn't actually a proper fix. It&a...

One thing I hate about Android is just how quickly devices get abandoned by manufacturers and it's on the 1337666 random custom ROM developers to keep it running (maybe). If only if it was more like desktop GNU+Linux... Just download their driver package and slap it into your "distro" of choice... Maybe then I could have a device that isn't a year behind on security patches (because manufacturer abandoned it barely a year after I bought it) and still enjoy a f...

>Google Allows sideloading apps anyways. >Requires 24h "cooldown period" to enable it. >"If we can't fully stop it, we can at least make it extremely inconvenient"

>People: "Why did you learn programming if you don't wanna work in IT anymore?" >Me: "So I can make stuff that makes my life easier" (made a little script that helps me to calculate how much wheel torque I have at redline for each gear - allowing me to calculate whether I should shift earlier or not)
