@mike @mpe @felwert @felwert @mpe @mike All good points. At @jcls, we're exploring the Markdown route. Not more difficult to write than LaTeX, which is what we currently expect. But just as easy (and even a bit lighter, resource-wise) to produce PDF (using Typst) and HTML and even some kind of JATS from Markdown than from LaTeX. Yes, the tables issue is not entirely solved, though grid syntax does help some way, and simple tables are often better in any case. https://codeberg.org/jcls/template

    @christof @mpe @felwert @jcls Sometime you need just need a complex table. I had to abandon Markdown and switch to LibreOffice for one project for this very reason.
