@christof @mpe @felwert @jcls Sometime you need just need a complex table. I had to abandon Markdown and switch to LibreOffice for one project for this very reason.

@mike @christof @mpe @jcls Right! At some point, we resorted to a “if it’s that complex, maybe it’s a figure rather than a table” tactic, but of course that’s a hack.
