They have done incredible work on problems that have mattered to the Python ecosystem for a long time, while respecting our shared process and community norms. They deserve our thanks for that.

@jezdez Yeah that's true and worth remembering, the Astral devs have been generally pretty good participants in the community so far. But that's mostly because it's been part of their jobs to be good participants in the community, and I think a lot of people are skeptical that that will continue being part of their jobs once the acquisition takes effect. We'll have to wait and see. #Python
