@bomkatt I can imagine. Be nice if there was a better word.
I marvel at people who point to back then as how society should be run. It was awful for nearly everyone.

@WTL as a cis woman, i've always known it would be unpleasant for me. It would be horrible for people of color. It always kind of intrigues me that various men all assume they'd be part of the elite group and not the general rabble.
