@Cykelero Nice write-up! That said, I wonder if this is more about testing how far SwiftUI can be pushed. Would you really go through all these hurdles instead of building this component in AppKit?

@lukaskubanek Probably not, I agree! Here I was greatly enjoying the process, but had I been on a deadline, I’d probably have switched to AppKit quickly.
