@clive Actually 7-8 months, as the prices were flat until October 2025, when OpenAI announced thier attempt to corner the market on RAM wafers.

@gcvsa @clive my wife and I did full PC upgrades about two weeks before the announcement. We were very lucky.

@gcvsa @clive it’s not just RAM the AI bastards are cornering, it’s also III-V wafers and foundry capacity. I hope their bubble collapses soon.
