I agree. It's definitely getting better. It would probably help if all the characters currently being autistically coded, mostly because they don't fit the narrower, older, definitions, were more explicitly stated as being neurodiverse.

@pathfinder @Susan60 @misaimed_brain @callunavulgaris @autistics Anyone watch 'The Other Bennet Sister' on the iplayer at the moment? I feel like they're coding Mary as autistic. Overall the show wasn't amazing, like, the writing is a bit cartoony or something. But then other parts genuinely moved me to tears, where Mary is gaining more acceptance and insight in to her (possibly autistic) needs. I found parts of it truly graceful.
