Totally agree. It's one of the reasons why I am quite open about being autistic. People need to understand that we come in all shapes and sizes to encourage them to understand how different we can be, not just from them, but from each other.

@pathfinder @misaimed_brain @callunavulgaris @autistics I’ve just watched Patience series 2, & there’s a line where she says something g like, “ but you don’t think k we’re all the same…?”. Representations in TV & movies have been bad, but they had to start somewhere, something is better than nothing, & I think they’re getting better. I loved The Assembly because of the diversity of autistic people involved. I should chase up the British version.
