I can see how that would be. Not so much that we were lacking, more needing the key to unlock ourselves. And yes, structural changes are definitely needed.

@pathfinder @misaimed_brain @autistics As so often Kevin I am struck by how wise you are. I think a key is a great symbol as far as my experiences go as the realisation unlocked a huge understanding for me. But if there's one thing I've learnt, it's that if you've met one autistic person, you've met one autistic person. That, I believe, is lost on well-meaning allists.
