I miss good charity shops. My nearest are just filled with fast fashion that weren't great when first purchased never mind second hand. Is there anywhere (UK, middle or northern England ideally) that still has good charity shops? I'm willing to do a day trip for a proper rummage. Edited to add I don't use Vinted, had a terrible experience with that app.

@Kimberley Lichfield used to have some good ones but I haven't been there for about five years. Most of them were along Market Street from by old market square and Samuel Johnson's house (which is well signposted). A few are expensive (there is an Oxfam bookshop which is great but not for bargain hunters) but when I last went there were still a few bargains to be had. All the old market towns and small cities in the midlands used to be good though.
