I signed up for CERT this spring too! I wish my city followed your schedule, though. Ours is one weekend, 5-9 Friday, 9-5 Saturday and Sunday.
I just... don't do eight-hour days anymore. But I worry a lot about wildfire, so I will grit my teeth and get through the training.

@boxofdelights @tinker oof that’s a long weekend! Usually my city did one night a week for 8 weeks. This last session was the first time they doubled it up. The main issue they had is too many people would drop out over the 8 weeks, so their hope was condensing it would mean fewer people would drop out. In our case I’m pretty sure everyone who started it finished, so maybe it did work.
