@glennf@zeppelin.flights I thought long and hard about getting a used Leaf two years ago when I got my Subaru. At the time, the message boards were rife with complaints from first-gen Leaf users who had been strung along for months/years over battery servicing and felt that it was Nissan trying force them to upgrade. I had gone through hell with an Infiniti I had owned before that, so I decided it was not worth it - especially given the platform drawbacks, imo. YMMV (quite literally, obvs)

@flargh @glennf Definitely avoid the first-gen (I had one). They were very primitive compared to what is available more recently. You know how fast tech moves. Good thing is that in the future there will be masses of used, good quality EVs available to buy.
