@ehmatthes @mpirnat It also answers the "How will Astral make money?" question that's been thrown around. Both major LLM providers have billions coming in from Claude Code and Codex, which is basically shaping up to be developer tools.

@webology @ehmatthes @mpirnat Feels a bit like we are going to see a lot of buying open-source focused companies to control the ecosystem as much as they can. From a sort of capitalist-zoological perspective, I'm surprised it's taken this long.
