@mpirnat Oh man. The only bright point for me is it's a clear answer to the question, what's going to happen to Astral.
I was really hoping their private package hosting work was going to work for funding the open tools.

@ehmatthes @mpirnat It also answers the "How will Astral make money?" question that's been thrown around. Both major LLM providers have billions coming in from Claude Code and Codex, which is basically shaping up to be developer tools. With Bun joining Anthropic last year, I am only surprised it didn't happen sooner. https://bun.com/blog/bun-joins-anthropic
