@jessamyn @abdalian 👍🏻 I’ve done similar. I used to copy out of text files. Then I created scripts that inject the character into the clipboard; -symbol-to-clipboard.sh. I also have a script that will show all of the characters and script names; show-symbols.sh. Use what works best for you.

@jessamyn @drscriptt @abdalian I took an idea from Slack and set up a bunch of autocorrect entries, so that I can type : then an abbreviation I can remember then :, and it’ll autocorrect to the fancy character. e.g. ½ is :1/2: The colons prevent it from accidentally triggering during normal typing.
