@NilaJones it's a bag with a cordura outer shell and a waterproof internal liner - membrane, but stitched. I'm not worried about water ingress per se nor trying to repair something that's leaking, I'm just thinking ahead about regular maintenance. The seams are not sealed.

@gnomon Are you able to see the inside of the cordura layer? Does it look identical to the outside? Or does it look sort of smoother and shinier? That's what the waterproof coating looks like It's very unusual, but not impossible, to have cordura without the factory waterproof coating
