But since Obsidian is a note taking app, I understand to have a Kanban board it needs a plugin. How does that match to Jira or Trello in similar functionality and workflow?

@badnetmask I've been using it as a basic Kanban. But, with Obisidian, you can wikilink notes that have additional context if you need them.
