@pockets @FeloniousPunk getting access to the firewall might be tricky but running a line through the wiring harnesses that are already there wouldn't be too bad 😊 All depends on the vehicle but if you're not confident doing it yourself it's something an auto electrician would probably be able to sort out in an afternoon

@captainvellalives I almost definitely will not being doing this myself, mixing two things I'm uncomfortable with: cars and electricity. (Though I badly am in need of rectifying both of those, if for nothing else than from a basic upkeep perspective.) "In an afternoon" is all kinds of comforting, thanks. @FeloniousPunk
